For two seasons, he hosted " The College Experiment," a funny online college sports show for Fox Sports. From 2006 to 2009, he was a guest star on the hit show "My Name Is Earl," From 2010 to 2011, he was a guest star and wrote for "Raising Hope." Wolf returned to TV in 2006 when he was on NBC's "Last Comic Standing" for its fourth season. He realized this was another facet of the entertainment industry he cherished. Wolf decided to test the waters of the TV industry by first getting his foot in the door as a TV writer. This got him a talent deal with 20th Century Fox and a deal for his TV show with ABC. Wolf's first big break came in 1999 when he did a one-person show at the HBO Workspace. He immediately realized that competing as an underdog in the comedy industry was just as difficult as it was for him to establish himself as a major player in the port city's entertainment scene. After a few years in Seattle, he had made a name for himself in the local comedy scene and was ready to join the big leagues. Wolf chose to move to Los Angeles when he was 28 years old. Since indie musicians dominated Seattle's live entertainment scene, he got more stage time and practice in comedy. It was when he was in his 20s that he realized he needed a fresh start and moved to Seattle, Washington, aiming to do something in his comedic career. He displayed his talent first at the age of 15. As a teenager, he started doing stand-up comedy in the Boston area. He was quite young when he realized that he enjoyed making people laugh and that too laugh at him.
